Week 7

 On 25th August, I arrived at school on time and settled into the classroom. There were no examination duties for us that day, so I used the free time to complete some of my pending work and prepare lesson plans. It turned out to be a peaceful and productive day. As I went through my plans, I realized how important it is to organize ideas ahead of time. Planning not only made my tasks clearer but also gave me confidence about handling future classes more effectively.

26/08/2025 (Tuesday)

On 26th August 2025, the last day of the first term examinations, I reached the school on time and settled in for the day. As no specific duties were assigned, I focused on completing my pending tasks quietly. I used the time productively to work on my painting assignments, which allowed me to concentrate and enjoy a calm, peaceful morning. Later, we had a short tea break, and the day concluded smoothly. I left the school on time, feeling satisfied with having used the free time meaningfully and efficiently.

29/08/2025 (friday)

Since the Onam vacation had started a couple of days ago, there were no students in the school. Despite the empty classrooms, the school had organized a special Onam celebration for the teachers, and we were invited to take part. The program was lively and filled with festive cheer. It included music, cultural performances, and decorations that brought a joyful atmosphere to the campus. Participating in the celebration was a pleasant experience, allowing us to enjoy the spirit of Onam with the staff. After the program concluded, we left the school, feeling happy and refreshed from the day’s celebration.

15/09/2025.(Monday)  It was a bright and lively day at the school. Being a Monday, I reached the school on time. I had no regular class scheduled for the day. The UP section had their Sports Day, and the whole campus was filled with excitement and energy. The sports day began by an inauguration ceremony and flag hoisting by the guest. There was a march past conducted by students from NCC, JRC, SPC etc. During the third period, I got a substitution in Class 8 F, where I managed the class and ensured discipline was maintained. We, the teachers, were not assigned any specific duties for conducting the sports activities. This gave me the chance to observe the students as they participated enthusiastically in different events.  The week was filled with new beginnings, valuable feedback, unexpected challenges, and meaningful learning experiences. Each day brought something different, reminding me how dynamic a teacher’s journey can be. Here's a reflective summary of my week: Monday – 4th August 2025 There were no teaching periods scheduled for me today. I stayed in my allotted class and used the time to stay updated with my preparation and observations. Though I didn’t teach, it gave me a calm start to the week and space to get mentally ready for the lessons ahead. Tuesday – 5th August 2025 Today I had two classes and introduced a new chapter – Polygons. I used the Concept Attainment Model, which turned out to be both effective and engaging.
