Week 7

25/08/2025  ( Monday)  On 25th August, I arrived at school on time and settled into the classroom. There were no examination duties for us that day, so I used the free time to complete some of my pending work and prepare lesson plans. It turned out to be a peaceful and productive day. As I went through my plans, I realized how important it is to organize ideas ahead of time. Planning not only made my tasks clearer but also gave me confidence about handling future classes more effectively. 26/08/2025 (Tuesday) On 26th August 2025, the last day of the first term examinations, I reached the school on time and settled in for the day.  Onam Celebration at Karmela  Rani Training College – 27th August 2025 Today was a very special day at Karmela  Rani Training College, as the college celebrated Onam with great enthusiasm and cultural vibrancy. The program began with warm wishes from the college authorities, followed by a guest who extended heartfelt Onam greetings and shared an inspiring message for everyone. The atmosphere instantly felt festive and cheerful. All the students came together to prepare a floral carpet (athapookalam) in front of the college. The colourful arrangement of flowers, combined with other natural decorations, gave the campus an aesthetic and vibrant touch. The visual appeal of the decoration instantly uplifted everyone’s mood and created a perfect setting for the celebrations. Week 6

INTRODUCTION  This week was mainly dedicated to the First Term Examinations in the school. As teacher trainees, we had limited responsibilities, but the experience gave us insights into how examinations are organized and smoothly conducted in a school setting. Each day followed a well-structured routine, and though we did not have any specific duties, we carefully observed the process and stayed in our allotted spaces. Below is a day-wise reflection.  18-08-2025 (Monday) The first day of the First Term Examination began with a formal address by the headmistress. She gave clear instructions to both students and teachers to ensure a smooth flow of the exam sessions. The examinations were scheduled in both the forenoon and afternoon sessions. As B Ed trainees, we were not given any duty, so we remained in our designated place, observing the conduct of the examination. The process went on systematically and concluded by 3.15 p.m. After confirming that students had left, we d...

The week was filled with new beginnings, valuable feedback, unexpected challenges, and meaningful learning experiences. Each day brought something different, reminding me how dynamic a teacher’s journey can be. Here's a reflective summary of my week: Monday – 4th August 2025 There were no teaching periods scheduled for me today. I stayed in my allotted class and used the time to stay updated with my preparation and observations. Though I didn’t teach, it gave me a calm start to the week and space to get mentally ready for the lessons ahead. Tuesday – 5th August 2025 Today I had two classes and introduced a new chapter – Polygons. I used the Concept Attainment Model, which turned out to be both effective and engaging. The students responded well and participated actively in identifying the properties of polygons through examples and non-examples. It felt good to start the chapter on such a positive note. Wednesday – 6th August 2025 This day was quite special as my tutor, Dr. Brinda...
