NUTRITION CHART

 This nutrition chart highlights the major nutrients required for a healthy body, along with their functions and food sources. It is designed to create awareness about balanced nutrition and the importance of including all essential nutrients in our daily diet.

Phase 2. Week 7

  Day 27. Monday As it was a Monday, I did not have any scheduled teaching hours. I remained in the classroom throughout the school hours and utilized the time productively. The day was calm and routine, with no official programmes or special activities conducted in the school. Day 28. Tuesday  On Day 28 of teaching practice, I handled two teaching periods in class 8F during the fourth and sixth hours. In the fourth period, I taught the topic “Diagonals of a Parallelogram.” To make the lesson more student-centred, the class was divided into suitable groups, and each group was provided with a parallelogram figure. Students were asked to draw the diagonals and observe their properties. Through this hands-on activity, students were guided to understand that the diagonals of a parallelogram bisect each other. Phase 2. Week 6

 Day 25. Wednesday  The twenty-fifth day of the second phase of teaching practice was a productive one. I reached the school by 9 a.m. and had my teaching period during the third hour. On this day, I introduced a new chapter, Parallelogram, with focus on the topic Sides and Angles. The lesson was planned using the Concept Attainment Model. To introduce the concept, I presented both positive and negative exemplars of parallelogram to the students. Various figures were shown to help them carefully observe and compare the properties of different shapes. Through active participation and discussion, the students analyzed the examples and were able to identify the concept of parallelogram on their own. This method encouraged logical thinking and deeper understanding of geometric properties. Follow-up activities were provided to reinforce the concept further. INNOVATIVE MODEL Sem 4

 Midpoint Theorem The images above show an innovative working model based on the Midpoint Theorem. Statement of Midpoint Theorem: The line joining the midpoints of two sides of a triangle is parallel to the third side and is half of its length. This model was prepared using a soft board, two permanent scales, and three removable scales. The arrangement allows students to form triangles of different sizes and shapes by adjusting the removable scales. Through this model, students can verify the Midpoint Theorem using different triangles. By observing and checking multiple examples, students are able to identify the pattern and finally generalize the concept on their own. The model provides a hands-on learning experience, where students actively measure, compare, and verify the properties related to the midpoint theorem. Phase 2. Week 5

  Day22 Monday As it was a Monday, I did not have any scheduled teaching hours. However, I received a substitution period in the 8th standard, which I utilized to distribute the answer sheets of the achievement test to the students. After distribution, many students raised doubts regarding certain questions. I addressed their doubts individually and discussed the test questions in detail, explaining the correct methods of solving them. This session helped students understand their mistakes and identify areas that need improvement. There were no special programmes conducted at the school on this day. During the remaining time, I prepared for the diagnostic test scheduled for the next day by completing the necessary arrangements and planning the test items.
