Week 6

 INTRODUCTION

This week was mainly dedicated to the First Term Examinations in the school. As teacher trainees, we had limited responsibilities, but the experience gave us insights into how examinations are organized and smoothly conducted in a school setting. Each day followed a well-structured routine, and though we did not have any specific duties, we carefully observed the process and stayed in our allotted spaces. Below is a day-wise reflection.

 18-08-2025 (Monday)

The first day of the First Term Examination began with a formal address by the headmistress. She gave clear instructions to both students and teachers to ensure a smooth flow of the exam sessions. The examinations were scheduled in both the forenoon and afternoon sessions. As B Ed trainees, we were not given any duty, so we remained in our designated place, observing the conduct of the examination. The process went on systematically and concluded by 3.15 p.m. After confirming that students had left, we departed by 3.30 p.m.

 19-08-2025 (Tuesday)

The second day of the examination continued with the same schedule and discipline. The headmistress’s prior instructions helped the staff and students to function in an organized manner. As trainees, we once again had no specific tasks and stayed in our space throughout the sessions. The examinations were completed on time, without any interruptions, and we left after ensuring the campus was settled by 3.30 p.m.

 20-08-2025 (Wednesday)

On the third day, the routine remained unchanged. Both morning and afternoon sessions were conducted smoothly. We, as trainees, observed how examinations require strict planning and careful monitoring, even though we were not directly involved. The school atmosphere was calm and exam-oriented, and we continued our day in our allotted area.

21-08-2025 (Thursday)

This day also followed the same examination schedule. No special duties were allotted to us, so we spent the day completing our college-related work alongside staying present for the sessions. The examination management was effective, and everything concluded by the scheduled time.

22-08-2025 (Friday)

On the last working day of the week, the examination sessions went on as planned. Similar to the previous days, we were not given any specific roles but made use of the time to finish our college work. The exam atmosphere remained disciplined, and we left school by 3.30 p.m. after ensuring the premises were in order.

CONCLUSION

This week was predominantly centered on the First Term Examination. While we, as trainees, were not assigned direct responsibilities, the week provided us with an opportunity to observe the administrative and procedural side of examinations. We also utilized the free time to complete our college-related tasks. Overall, the week was smooth, disciplined, and well-coordinated, highlighting the efficiency of the school in handling large-scale academic processes.
