 Republic Day Observance by Maths Optional Students

The Maths optional students of our college organized a meaningful Republic Day observance, which turned out to be a well-planned and memorable programme. The event reflected the spirit of patriotism and unity, and it actively involved students in celebrating the values of our nation.





The programme began with a prayer, setting a respectful and solemn tone for the occasion. Following this, a short speech was delivered by Amala Jacob, highlighting the significance of Republic Day and reminding everyone of the values enshrined in the Indian Constitution.

After the speech, a video presentation related to Republic Day was screened. The video effectively conveyed the importance of democracy, fundamental rights, and the sacrifices made by our national leaders, leaving a strong impression on the audience.

To encourage creativity and critical thinking, a flag-making competition was conducted, where students enthusiastically showcased their artistic skills and patriotic spirit. 

The programme concluded on a vibrant note with a patriotic dance performance, which beautifully portrayed love for the country and filled the atmosphere with pride and enthusiasm. The graceful movements and expressive performance received warm appreciation from everyone present.

Overall, the Republic Day observance organized by the Maths optional students was a successful and enriching programme. It not only commemorated the importance of the day but also fostered patriotism, creativity, and active participation among students.

15/09/2025.(Monday)  It was a bright and lively day at the school. Being a Monday, I reached the school on time. I had no regular class scheduled for the day. The UP section had their Sports Day, and the whole campus was filled with excitement and energy. The sports day began by an inauguration ceremony and flag hoisting by the guest. There was a march past conducted by students from NCC, JRC, SPC etc. During the third period, I got a substitution in Class 8 F, where I managed the class and ensured discipline was maintained. We, the teachers, were not assigned any specific duties for conducting the sports activities. This gave me the chance to observe the students as they participated enthusiastically in different events. The program was lively and well-organized, and it created a cheerful environment throughout the school.  The week was filled with new beginnings, valuable feedback, unexpected challenges, and meaningful learning experiences. Each day brought something different, reminding me how dynamic a teacher’s journey can be. Here's a reflective summary of my week: Monday – 4th August 2025 There were no teaching periods scheduled for me today. I stayed in my allotted class and used the time to stay updated with my preparation and observations. Though I didn’t teach, it gave me a calm start to the week and space to get mentally ready for the lessons ahead.
